  1. The volcano Barú is the highest elevation of Panama and is the highest volcano of the south of Central America, with a height of 3.475 msnm. He is in Bugaba's district. The last eruption of the volcano produced a great quantity of magma, which on having cooled turned into stones and it is very peculiar to observe that the local estates his fences are of stones.
